Coach Lisa Excels at Powerlifting Event

Sunday 25th August. Today CrossFit Romsey Coach Lisa took part in her first novice powerlifting meet at Alpha and Omega Performance in Salisbury. In a bid to try something new, Lisa set some new personal bests in her lifts and won her category 💪🏼. Well done Lisa.

Powerlifting focuses on 3 moves, the squat, bench press and deadlift. Lisa was able to lift:

Squat - 120kg

Bench press - 80kg

Deadlift - 140kg

Total weight - 340kg

Lisa also managed a 145kg deadlift but it was not an official lift so didn’t count towards her score, amazing work from a great athlete.
